Responsible Play
Tactical Eleven is meant to be a fun, low-pressure football management game. This page explains how in-game items and packs work, and offers some simple guidance to help you keep your play and any spending comfortable.
Age guidance
You must be at least 13 to play, and older where local law requires. Buying Credits, buying the Season Ticket, or opening a Credits-priced pack additionally requires that you are 18 or over. That is enforced, not advisory: an account whose date of birth is under 18 cannot reach the till or open a paid pack, and no wording, promotion or gift changes that. The rest of the game stays fully open at 13, including the free daily pack and every pack priced in Coins, which are earned by playing and never bought.
If you look after a younger player, please use your device's parental controls and keep payment methods out of reach.
Where the Credits store is closed
Some countries treat paid randomised rewards differently from the rest of a game. Where that is the case we do not sell them at all: the Credits store is closed in Belgium and Netherlands. We check the country your connection appears to come from, the billing address you give at checkout, and the country that issued the card itself. A payment that reaches us from one of those countries anyway is refunded rather than fulfilled: we do not keep the money and hand over the pack. Managers in those countries keep the whole game, Coins and all.
How packs work
Packs contain randomised items. You are buying the opening, not a specific card, and what you get is a matter of chance. The odds for each outcome are shown in-app before you buy, on the pack's odds display. We encourage you to read the odds first, so you know what you are getting into. You can find them on the Packs screen inside the game, and on the reveal after a pack is opened, so they are on screen wherever a pack can be bought.
Virtual items have no cash value
Coins, Credits, player cards and packs are virtual items for use inside the game. They have no real-world monetary value, and they cannot be exchanged, refunded or cashed out for money. Buying them is a purchase of in-game content for entertainment, not an investment, and not a bet with a cash prize.
Staying in control of spending
A few simple habits can keep spending comfortable and fun:
- Decide a personal budget before you start, and treat it as spending on entertainment, not as a way to win money back.
- Take regular breaks, and avoid playing or spending when you are stressed, upset or chasing a previous loss.
- Keep your account and payment details private, and use parental controls for younger players.
Two of those are built into the game rather than left to willpower. Your wallet shows what you have spent in real money this month and across the whole life of the account, adding nothing up for you to work out. And every account carries a monthly spending limit, set to $250.00 by default and changeable by you on that same page. Once a month's purchases reach it, the store stops selling to you until the month turns. Lowering the limit takes effect immediately, including to below what you have already spent, and including to zero, which closes the store to you entirely. Raising it is capped at $1,000.00, so the control can never be used to remove itself.
If play stops being fun
If your play or spending starts to feel like it is more than you want, it is a good moment to step back. Consider taking a break from the game, and talking to someone you trust.
